Tribal times...

This book is really fascinating, although a bit outdated. Personally I'd like Kulick to update this thing (if he did I'd give it a 5).
This book goes into detail about a particular tribe in New Guinea, from their rituals, religious life, to their interactions (while limited) with outsiders. Mainly it talks about how their society is changing because of their desire to modernize, which, because of their limited interaction with the outside world had (at the time) caused them to have very interesting religious beliefs.
Its a classic, and probably one of the best anthropological books I've read thus far.
